I've been a Stila girl for 7 years, largely due to the incomparable quality of their eye shadows. Before discovering Stila on a makeup-themed website, I was reasonably happy wearing drugstore brands (but I really concentrated on lipstick and not much else). Once I heard of the impressive quality and color selection of this cosmetics line, I decided to take a look for myself in person. I was not at all disappointed.
The eye shadows go on so smoothly, seldom crease, and wear like iron. In fact, if I forget to wash my face at night, I wake up the next morning looking almost exactly the same. The colors stay true and are highly-pigmented but apply sheerly. Their shimmer shadows never look greasy, overly-glittery, or immature and their matte shadows are not at all chalky. I have tried many comparably-priced ($10 - $20) eye shadows in the past few years, and I have found that they are so much softer, smoother, and prettier than the other brands (the ever-popular MAC and NARS included).
Standout shades (in my opinion) include the following:
Shimmer shades - Kitten, Cloud, Grace, Puck, and Wheat
Matte shades - Chinois, Bouquet, Eden, Puppy, and Toffee
Liner shades - Java, Ebony, Twig, Espresso, and Barefoot Contessa
The colors available range from the office-appropriate to the nightclub-suited and everything in-between. If you have the opportunity, don't miss your chance to be a Stila girl (or boy) yourself!

Stila's eye shadows have the best texture of any shadow I have ever used. They feel smooth and smooth on, they are easy to blend, highly pigmented and long wearing (and do not crease like most brands). You can build the color up without looking "overdone." The shadows are intended to work wet or dry, just wet my brush for the darker shade to create soft eyeliner. It's easy. You can collect the colors in the pan form, and purchase a palettes. The color selection is absolutely gorgeous. Chinois is a soft cream color that I use as a shadow primer all over the lid (this is beautiful for blending all over). Kitten is a shimmery champagne-pink beige colored, great for all over the lid, and to use as a highlighter. (The Stila rep at Nordstrom recommended that I add a pinch to a moisturizer for my face for a body shimmer). Viola is a subtle, muted, mauve color. Wheat is a soft beige with khaki undertones. Grace is a pretty shimmery brown shade with mauve undertones. Puck is a medium sheer taupe-plum. I would highly recommend Stila's eyeshadows. They are my favorite brand and well worth the money.
